Better Technology, Better
Outcomes
Controlled Chaos
Technology (CCT)
MOSAIC's
patented Controlled Chaos Technology (CCT)
dramatically improves beam delivery and management
over other current fractional laser systems. The
advantage of CCT is that it randomly delivers each
micro beam to the skin surface in a spray paint-like
manner. This eliminates the need for multiple
linear passes and the clinical disadvantages of
unavoidable overlap. The MOSAIC's Automatic
Total Density Counter also gives precise control over
all aspects of energy delivery resulting in a more
uniform treatment of the target area, reduced
treatments times, more rapid healing and improved
patient satisfaction.
Controlled
Chaos Technology offers the following advantages:
-
Utilizes
a unique "spray paint" approach
-
Delivers
a random spray of micro laser beams to the
targeted area
-
Avoids
bulk thermal damage caused by conventional paintbrush or
stamp
delivery methods
-
Provides
a more natural, uniform treatment result

Micro Fractional
Technology
MOSAIC's randomized beam spray
pattern targets a fraction of the treated area.
Although only a small proportion of skin cells are
directly affected, the body's natural desire to
regenerate leads to improvement in the majority of
the treated area. In basic terms, each
necrotic column stimulates a natural healing process
in the area around it, initiating long term collagen
remodeling and regeneration of elastin in the
dermis. Thus rapid re-epithelialization occurs
with 24 hours, not only in the tissue directly
affected by the MNCs but also in 80% to 90% of the
surrounding tissue. After three to seven days,
excess necrotic pigment and coagulated epidermal
debris becomes renewed with new epidermal skin
cells. In short, MOSAIC harnesses the body's
natural reactions to rebuild the beauty of natural
skin. Patients notice immediate results that continue to
improve over a period of months. Post
treatment discomfort and healing times are reduced
because the stratum corneum is never ablated during
treatment. This maintenance of the stratum
corneum also results in minimal downtime and adverse side
effects. Patients can quickly and confidently return
to normal activities. Overall, MOSAIC is
among the safest and most reliable resurfacing laser
systems available to today's practicing aesthetic
clinician.

Dual Operating Modes for
Flexibility and Control
MOSAIC brings a new level of comfort and control
to laser therapy by offering a choice between two
convenient and easy to use operating modes.
Operators can switch freely between the two modes
during the same treatment session, enhancing accuracy
and ease of use regardless of the size or shape of
the treatment area. The ability to switch back
and forth between treatment modes allows for exact
tailoring of the treatment to the needs of each
patient.
Dynamic Mode
Dynamic Mode, which continuously delivers
randomized beams using our patented Controlled Chaos
Technology, is ideal for the rapid and reliable
coverage of large areas with consistent results.
A complete facial treatment may now require as little
as 10 to 15 minutes, making MOSAIC one of the fastest systems available today and offering a better return on investment profile than any
comparable system on the market.
Static Mode
Static Mode's stamp-like approach is suitable for
smaller treatment areas. In this mode MOSAIC
has the ability to instantly deliver 50 to 300 spots
per square centimeter for virtually pain free
treatment. With a choice of four different tip
sizes, treatment can be tailored to treat areas of different sizes without damage to the
surrounding tissue.

Automatic Total Density Counter
| One of the key features of the MOSAIC system is
its ability to track and record the total number of
Micro Necrotic Columns (MNCs) delivered to the skin.
In
conjunction with our patented Skin Sensor Tip system,
which will only deliver treatment when in contact
with the skin, the Automatic Total Density Counter
allows for precise control over both the density and
depth of the MNCs delivered by tracking the number
and site of each MNC.
Unlike other systems,
MOSAIC also allows you to stop treatment at anytime
to check the skin's reaction while maintaining the
ability to display the total density delivered to
each region.
Physicians are now able to control
the precise dosage of each treatment and therefore
more accurately predict clinical outcomes.

MOSAIC Touch Screen
Display
| Among the many
exceptional MOSAIC features, one of the most
recognized and highly acclaimed is the
MOSAIC Touch Screen Display.
In addition to
clear, easily read setting displays and control
buttons, the user-friendly MOSAIC Touch Screen
Display is fully integrated with our
patented Controlled Chaos Technology and Total
Density Counter software. The Touch Screen
software divides the face into
five regions providing the ability to program
a different total density for each region, or to
exclude regions entirely.
